    Class RecordChangesComponent

    Slide-out timeline of all changes to a single record. Hosts the reusable RestorePreviewPanelComponent for the actual restore confirmation flow, and exposes a RestoreRequested event the host can act on to persist the restore.

    Emitted when the user toggles "Preview in Form" on a historical change card (or clears the preview). Emits the selected MJRecordChangeEntity or null when exiting preview.

    Provider: IMetadataProvider | null

    If specified, this provider will be used for communication and for all metadata purposes. By default, if not provided, the Metadata and RunView classes are used for this and the default GraphQLDataProvider is used which is connected to the same back-end MJAPI instance as the Metadata and RunView classes. If you want to have this component connect to a different MJAPI back-end, create an instance of a ProviderBase sub-class like GraphQLDataProvider/etc, and configure it as appropriate to connect to the MJAPI back-end you want to use, and then pass it in here.

      Human-friendly display name for the current entity (uses EntityInfo.DisplayNameOrName, stripping technical schema prefixes like MJ_BizApps_Common: when falling back to Name).

    Methods

    • A callback method that is invoked immediately after the default change detector has checked the directive's data-bound properties for the first time, and before any of the view or content children have been checked. It is invoked only once when the directive is instantiated.

      Returns void

    • Opens the embedded restore preview panel for a given change record. The panel computes a full-record diff (current vs the change's FullRecordJSON snapshot) — this is the semantic-correctness fix: we restore TO the state at that point in time, not just undo the one delta the user clicked.

    • Assigns a historical change ID (or '__CURRENT__') to either the base (vA) or target (vB) comparison slot.
