Canonical lookup key for a primary-key value when rows from different sources (a probe's
RecordPK column, a loaded row, a CompositeKey) must be matched by value.
UUID keys are case-insensitive by definition (SQL Server returns them upper-case, PostgreSQL
lower-case), so they are normalized with NormalizeUUID. Every other type keeps its
exact text after trimming: lower-casing a case-sensitive nvarchar/text key would merge
'ABC' and 'abc' into one record.
Both sides of a match must use this function with the same isUuid for the same field.
