    Function DescribeUnresolvedVersion

    • The message for a repository whose latest version could not be resolved (GetLatestVersion returned null).

      The release and tag listings turn a 404 into an empty list, and GitHub answers 404 for a private repository the caller cannot see — so "no versions" and "cannot read this repository" look the same to GetLatestVersion. This tells them apart with the same probe DescribeNotFound uses.

      Parameters

      • repoUrl: string

        GitHub repository URL (an in-repo subpath is allowed)

      • options: GitHubClientOptions

        GitHub client options; the probe uses the same credential the listings used

      • Optionalsubpath: string

        Optional in-repo app path, named in the message when the repository is readable

      Returns Promise<string>
