    Interface MJAIVendorEntity_RealtimeTurnDetectionSettings

MJ-normalized turn-detection settings for realtime (speech-to-speech) models. Every field is optional; absent fields contribute nothing. Provider profiles translate this vocabulary to their native wire block, and an unsupported value is diagnostic-logged and falls back to the profile default — a wrong inherited value degrades safely, it never rejects a session.

    Properties

What a turn's input may include. Declaring it keeps Gemini 3.8 Live's every-frame default (billed, and consuming context) a decision rather than an inherited cost. Ignored without a mapping.

Eagerness?: "auto" | "low" | "high"

The cross-driver patient (low) / normal (auto) / eager (high) turn-taking dial; ignored without a mapping. OpenAI and Eleven Realtime: semantic-VAD eagerness, applied only with Mode: 'semanticVad'. xAI: an end-of-turn silence ladder. Gemini: end-of-speech sensitivity. ElevenLabs Agents: turn eagerness.

The normalized mode; absent = 'default'.

    SilenceDurationMs?: number

Server-VAD trailing-silence duration in ms; ignored without a mapping. Setting it (in any layer, including the model-vendor catalog) turns the eagerness ladder off for drivers without a native eagerness knob (xAI).

    Threshold?: number

Server-VAD activation threshold (0–1); ignored without a mapping. Approximate on Gemini (two levels: < 0.5 → high start sensitivity, >= 0.5 → low).
