    Properties

    AllowedRoles?: string[]

    Optional list of role names (MJ: Roles.Name, case-insensitive) allowed to post or resolve comments on this entity. When omitted or empty, any user meeting RequiredPermission may comment.

    Enabled?: boolean

    Master switch for anchored record commenting on this entity. Defaults to true when omitted. Set to false to disable record, field, and section commenting on this entity in both the form UI and server-side validation.

    RequiredPermission?: "Update" | "Read"

    Minimum entity permission required on this entity to create, reply to, or resolve anchored comments on its records:

    • 'Read' (default): Any user who can read the record (including RLS) can participate in anchored discussions on it without needing column-level Update rights.
    • 'Update': Only users with Update permission on the entity can post or resolve comments; users with Read-only permission can still view existing comments.
