    Type Alias UpdateOptions<T>

    This type is very similar to VectorRecord, but differs because the values field is optional here. This is to allow for situations where perhaps the caller only wants to update metadata for a given record while leaving stored vector values as they are.

    The id of the record you would like to update

    metadata?: T

    The metadata you would like to store with this record.

    providerTemporaryDirectives?: Record<string, unknown>

    Per-record routing set by VectorDBBase.BuildProviderDirectives, exactly as on VectorRecord. An update has to reach the same namespace the record was written to — Pinecone updates are namespace-scoped, so an unrouted update of a namespaced vector fails.

    sparseValues?: RecordSparseValues

    The sparse values you would like to store with this record.

    values?: RecordValues

    The vector values you would like to store with this record
