MJ-RUN-37 — the overlay attributes whose change makes an object's stored Pull watermark
MEANINGLESS rather than merely stale.
IncrementalWatermarkField names the source column the incremental filter is built from. Swap it
and the stored cursor value — captured from the OLD column — is applied as a lower bound on the
NEW one. Where the new column sorts later, every row below that value is filtered out at the
source and never fetched again. Nothing reports it: the run's fetch-integrity check compares what
arrived against what the source said matched the filter it was given, and those agree exactly.
The result is silent, permanent absence with no artifact to find it in.
