Agent Skills

MemberJunction ships Claude Code agent skills that teach an AI coding agent repo-specific workflows. Skills are folders containing a SKILL.md; to use one in your own project, copy its folder into your project’s .claude/skills/ directory.

Inspect, verify, timeline, and diagnose MemberJunction .mjdiag diagnostic bundles using the mj diag CLI and @memberjunction/diagnostics.

Build a MemberJunction database from scratch on a private name — migrations, CodeGen, metadata, build, and the deterministic integration tier — so a branch is verified against a schema that came only from what the repo ships. Use when you need a clean-room verification, when a shared dev DB has drifted or been corrupted, before a release or certification, or whenever you need a database no other agent is using.

Systematically diagnose why a MemberJunction package fails to build — TypeScript compilation errors during npm install, Turbo not detecting a package, circular dependencies, or wrong build order. Use when a package build fails, npm install errors partway through the monorepo, Turbo skips or can’t find a package, or a package’s dist/ is missing after a build.

Build or review MemberJunction code that hands entity data onward so it respects field-level security — new actions, GraphQL/REST/MCP/A2A transports and resolvers, caches, agent data sources and tools, templates, communications, and derived indexes (vectors, tags, search). Covers the principal rule, on-behalf-of identity, object width following its user, the shared output projection, client-input rejection, user-keyed caches, the fls-guard source guard, and how to test with a restricted user (failing first). Use when adding or changing any such code, or when a review or the check:guards scanner flags an entity serialization.

Automates browser interactions for web testing, form filling, screenshots, and data extraction. Use when the user needs to navigate websites, interact with web pages, fill forms, take screenshots, test web applications, or extract information from web pages.

Scaffold a new MJ Explorer dashboard component following all MJ conventions — chrome trio, BaseResourceComponent/BaseDashboard, design tokens, mjButton, modern Angular syntax, NavigationService routing, query-param round-trip, and CI gate compliance. Use when the user wants to create a new dashboard, resource component, or app inside packages/Angular/Explorer/dashboards/.
